Park outside Glenmore Lodge if you want to keep the walk as short as possible. The turning from the main road, is on the left by the Reindeer centre, and the single track lane immediately climbs up, and finishes at a dead end by the lodge, where there are informal layby spaces by the gate to the forest path.
The walk description is very simple! Get on the path, and follow it straight up hill to the lochan. The path gently climbs all the way, and it is tiring for little legs, but after a rest at the lochan, at least it is downhill hill all the way back to the car!
Tot Tips:
There is a viewing platform with seating when you get to the Loch, perfect for a picnic.
